Okay, so at this point, I am wondering if people are just in a poor mood. I approached her (with tip in hand!), and she barked at me to go to the bar if I wanted a water. A little later, I observed a server with a tray with waters. I even called service and they tried to get someone over without success. A couple of hours later, I got up from a machine to locate a server and nobody in sight. I gave her the benefit of doubt and thought that maybe not a good day for her.
Yes, I was aware and was asking if there was a room available and if not, no big deal. Not so friendly team members - We arrived early and before I could finish my sentence about check in the front desk person abruptly informed me of the 4p check in time. Walking in and not getting hit in the face with smoke smell was a-mazing! Pleasant scent throughout, super clean and the room was gorgeous.
